I am also using [CS:GO] Custom Knife Models v2.3.1
Does that trigger auto ban aswell?

Is there anyway to flip viewmodels? (e.g models that are left-handed, right handed?)

There are three ways to flip v model.

1.cl_righthand 1

2.Use MilkShape 3D

3.Use Gflip (CS1.6)

*** Tutorial of using MS3D to flip v model ***

Tools
  • Crowbar - Compile / Decompile Models
  • MilkShape 3D - Mirror smd files.
  • CSGO SDK - Preview model

Step1.
Use Crowbar to decompile the model.



Step2.
You will get something like this.
Spoiler




Step3.
Open MS3D, and import the smd file.
(File --> Import --> Half Life SMD)

Step4.
Mirror All.
(Tools ---> Mirror All)

Step5.
Export.
(File --> Export --> Half Life SMD)
Spoiler




Step6. Very Important
If the smd you import is reference, please choose reference.
If the smd you import is sequence, please choose sequence.
(smd files like idle, reload, shoot...etc are sequence.)

If the model is csgo model, you must check "With Vertex Weights (HL2)"

Step7.
Repeat step3 to step6, mirror all smd files.



Step8.
Use Crowbar to compile model.




Step9.
Finish.

Thanks heaps! One more question, is there a way to change viewmodel FOV for everyone? (some viewmodels have low FOV even on the highest setting). Thanks again.

You can change view model position with $origin command in qc file,
or just ask someone to write a sourcemod plugin for you.
