It does, just not under Counter-Strike, since you changed the name of it.... Unless something has changed, I used it before and peopel connected, they just have to know what their looking for.

it will still show up if ur filter is for counter-strike and its a cs 1.6 server
only display name changes.. it will always show up

I'm at a loss of what this does exactly -_-. Could somebody describe in greater detail? I only understand that this brings more attention to your server in the search spider.

But why? And how would you recommend to change the game name to be most effective?

You have an example in first post, open your list of servers steam and look, you have the name of the game, with this, you have the name you want ;)

I isntalled it.. adn I am no noob to installing plugins.. adn when I put the cvar in server.cfg and when I go into servers.. it shows up as Team Fortress Classic I put amx_gamename "97th Infantry" yet still nothng.. what did I do wrong. .the game is DoD.. so i haev no clue why it is coming up with TFC..

Change it in sma and recompile it or try to add it in amxx.cfg (not server.cfg).
