Hello. I think everyone knows Unreal Tournament and its announcer reward sounds like "Double Kill", "Monster Kill", "Rampage" and etc. Well, these are the UT3 ones.

Not long time ago Unreal Tournament 3 developers have released its 2.0 patch along with a huge update called "TitanPack". Until then I had found 40 announcer reward sounds in an MP3 format. I've successfully converted them to Wav and used for a while. Now, when TitanPack is here, new announcer reward sounds shown up. I've decided to manage getting them in Wav. I did it. Now they're public.

This is the list of announce reward sounds the ZIP contains:

As you can see, there are 58 sounds. Not bad, huh?

• FairStars Audio Converter (http://www.fairstars.com/audioconverter).

Note:

• These sounds are originally from game UT3. Converted by me (hleV);
• These .wav & .mp3 formats are fully compatible in HL Engine-based games (spk/speak & mp3 play);
• You can use them whereever you want. Some credits would be appreciated though.

I was going to make UT3 Announcer plugin. Even created a sound system so the sounds wouldn't overlap. But due to CVARs I no longer could use switch statemens and then gave it up.

Now I think it would be better to use these sounds in a different way for other games. I have some ideas though but still I'm not planning of making another sounds plugin anytime soon.
