You can easely replace it for another sound in sound/misc folder i guess thats were it is! But disable it its in statistic options in amxx menu in game I think.

tried disable it in stats option - last man sound. still doesnt work. if the sound is included, then why cant i find the file in the installation zip/exe?

You could edit the miscstats.sma. I think that was the right .sma file.

try to listen to the sounds on your server sounds/misc and you will find it then replace it for another. The easy solution!

dumb solution. The sound will never be redownload and it will always be the same. Use vvg125 way to delete the sound.

If you replace the sound and give it the same name it works cos have done it with "prepare to fight" sound!

Only because you deleted/renamed/moved your current file. If people already have whatever.wav, the server isn't going to overwrite the existing file. Therefore, no it doesn't, can't, and won't work.

It seems He didn't said the sound was stupid to him! Is the one that does not like it! he can change it and if anyone else thinks the same they can do the same! Which is easyer? Edit the sma for a guy that does not code or change a stupid sound?

And instead off just not helping at all why dont you guys change it a port it instead of saying obvius stuff!

Wow dude.. Shut up! You don't even know what you are talking about you stupid d-bag.

You should agree with people that are one-hundred times smarter than you when you are challenged. Your way will not work for every person in a server because the file has already been downloaded on some people's computers. HL1 checks to see if someone already has a file (by name) and if they do, it does not download the file again; It is as simple as that.

If you knew anything about Amx Mod X or HL1 mods, you would know that the only real solution to this is to edit the plugin OR use a different plugin to block the sound from playing. If he wants to replace the sound with a different one, he can find a sound that he likes, incorporate the new sound's name into the plugin, and that way people will be able to download it and use it.
