Hi i have recently made a csgo server and are having an unusual problem. If i start the server without a token i can connect just fine, but if i specify a token i am unable to connect, I am trying to connect though lan. I have also had friends try to connect directly though ip and no luck. I have tried tokens for the appid's 730 and 740 but no luck. I also have tried multiple startup lines with no success. My current startup line is "srcds.exe -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_allclassic +map de_dust". I am specifying my steam token in the autoexec.cfg like this "sv_setsteamaccount "***************". I am experiencing no errors in the console relating to the steam token or connection error to steam servers. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

You need a token for public access outside of LAN. Are you trying to make it publicly accessible?
If so, you didn't specify +ip x.x.x.x or +net_public_adr x.x.x.x
You also need to open your ports for forwarding.

I stated that i was trying to connect through lan and it was not working so port forward is irrelevant.

I don't see the autoexec.cfg in your startup params.

Add this to the end of your startup line:

+exec autoexec.cfg

Otherwise the server doesn't know that you are even using autoexec.cfg

I dont have autoexec on my commandlines and the config executes just fine when my servers start.

I dont think you have to specify your autoexec.cfg directory if you are using the default location. I am specifying my steam token through the autoexec.cfg, Also i tried that token and got a fatal error

FYI i have also regenerated my steam token a handful of times and it has not helped.

Ok i figured it out. I turned on -condebug and noted that it had a workshop api error, So i turned deleted my workshop content and vola. No clue why it would not allow players to join but im glad it is fixed. Thanks to all who helped.
