@dreams: That didn't work. The server still thinks it's full. As far as I know, L4DT is working perfectly, nothing's on the error logs regarding it, and it shows up as the proper version on meta list.

This probably should go elsewhere, but I think it might be conflicting with something. Here's my very short meta list.

do you have +maxplayers in the command you start the server? You cant change it via console once the server is started.

In Valve's wiki +maxplayers is not valid for l4d2, but I feel it still works, and probably for servers with extra slots.

How many slots do you see via HLSW?

Maybe try to mess with sv_visiblemaxplayers?

@Gunblazer: I've only seen an issue like that once before--and unfortunately we couldn't get it resolved.
Try unloading left4downtown via sm exts list; sm exts unload <# for l4dt>;
Then connect to the server and reload it (sm exts load left4downtown.ext.2.l4d2).
Check your l4d_maxplayers cvar, test out playerslots functionality, and report back.

I believe the only other time I saw that issue was on a gameservers.com server. They may set something odd on their commandline that messes with it. As far as I can tell both -maxplayers and +maxplayers should work the same, though. If you can give us your full commandline string it could be very useful to us. Also windows or linux.

Unless you're using l4dtoolz, plugin conflict isn't likely. Although, I can't claim that I understand much about lobby reservation and whatnot.

it was gamedata, and i dont use l4dtoolz, it crash my server i host 4vs clan server and mod server work with windows.

On the VAC ban question: We do modify parts of engine.dll, and I've heard that this can trigger VAC bans.

Having issues with my 18 slot not showing 18 slots....just 8. (I have paid for 18, just having plugin issues)

Believe I'm not running the correct Left4Dowtown2(0.5.0.2) version even though I've uploaded to add-ons folder in server files. It shows I'm using (0.3.2.0 something) when I type 'meta list'.

The problem might be fixed if I can get the latest version you guys made showing up. It's a linux server and I'm only running superversus and lobby unreserve plugin.
