I sort of google the error I got with sourcemod, and it always links me to this thread... seeming how there is over 100 pages lol.

My game server is on a dedicated box, the web interface is on a web server.

LAST EDIT:

I figured it out finally. It turned out to be webhost. I had to let remote MySQL access.

Thanks for the help and the 160 pages of reading!

I have a kind of a unique problem...

We have grown to quite a large network of servers, and have almost 1000 donators/players in our admin database who donate for a reserved slot.

Unfortunately, it seems that due to the size of the admin.cfg file now, everytime SB rehashes the servers when an admin is added, it causes a 3-4 second lag spike on the game server.

Is there any way to either have it only rehash the server when I want it to (i.e. manually), or better yet, only load a fresh admin.cfg file on mapchange?

As we are about to add another set of (UK-based) servers, we show no signs of slowing down, and I can see the admin file getting quite a bit larger.

Admin Panel -> Settings -> Features -> Uncheck "Enable Admin Rehashing"

When the map changes it will auto-reload everything anyway.

Check your addons/sourcemod/logs/sourcebans.log for any errors. You have to allow incomming connections from your gameservers for you mysql server.

Heres an error I just noticed in our log file. Weve been having some random crashes lately, and been trying to narrow down what could be causing this.

L 05/26/2009 - 11:24:14: [SM] Native "SetPackPosition" reported: Invalid data pack handle 0 (error 4)

I figured it probably wasnt, but I like to post any errors up to the plugin authors just in case. :p

I think our crash issue was actually related to the snipers jar of piss. They fixed some crash issue in that update last night. We havnt had a crash in a while now.
