Sorry mate, I don't know what could cause this.
Is anyone here having the same issue?

It's working fine on the servers I could test it on recently.
Did you test it on a listen server maybe?
Oh, and maybe you have another plugin using the +use command like parachutes? It makes me think I didn't test with both plugins installed but it should work.

Now i cant even choose a team lol .. I instantly get a Connection Problem.

No, there is no other plugin which uses the use key

Please do a test like this:

Remove all plugins except default ones (like basebans etc...).
Remove everything else than sourcemod (i.e. if you installed another addon like ES which is not advised anyway).
Do a test without plugins. If all works fine, stop the server, add the sprint plugin and restart the server. If you have the bug, I'll check my code again.

Also, which versions of MMS and SM do you use?

To be honest your pb seems incredible, I've never seen a pb like that with any plugin and I doubt it can be due to the plugin.

Hi there,

Before I approve your plugin, please try to change your ConVar version for a more descriptive one (i.e. "autosprintsourceversion" rather than "sm_ass_version", which sounds a bit too generic/vague).

Also, please note that you should pass UserId/SerialId instead of ClientId. Using UserId/SerialId you could even totally drop timers' handles management. You'd just need a bool array. ==> better readability IMO. Note that your usage of client timers is correct however.

Some side notes :
  • FCVAR_REPLICATED can produce errors in client console.
  • You might want to add FCVAR_DONTRECORD to your version ConVar.

It is also great to see all ConVars' handles in an array. I believe it might be the first time I see that. That's kind of refreshing.

EDIT : Please note that if you're to use "sm_ass_enabled" as thread ConVar, you need to FCVAR_NOTIFY that ConVar (or else you won't get the # of uses). I would also, as most approved plugins also do, put the version ConVar rather than the enabled one (up too you thought).

Ok so I had a lot of work since we are moving all our servers on a new machine.

So I didn't have time to make the modifications recently.

I'll update my plugin within 2 weeks (maximum) and let you know when it is done.

the [Auto Sprint Source] in green that diplays in chat everytime u use sprint is really annoying. even more annoying that u cant delete it in the translation file, but only in the source. people don't need your annoying advertisements when they use sprint, fix it.

Right, ok, I'll include a cvar to control chat messages before I post the new version.
And please ask kindly instead of giving me the order to fix it, moreover when it's just a request and not a bug fix.

Hi,

The update has been done.

I added 2 new cvars to allow/remove sprint chat messages and welcome info.

I renamed the version cvar to a more descriptive one, and adjusted the flags (this for all other cvars too), to proper ones.

@RedSword: The timers (which were correct as you said anyway), are still working with handles, since I didn't figure out how to stop a one-time timer (at player_spawn in my case). But I made the other changes required.
