Well, I can hardly believe it, but I'm finally getting logs! Waiting for the server to fill up to verify that kicking works, but I'm guessing whatever fixed the missing logs probably fixed the plugin altogether. Out of desperation, I ended up just completely blowing away my install again and falling back to a clean backup I made last time I did a full download, then copying in your zip file (thanks a ton for attaching that!) Now I kinda wish I had kept a copy of my last config to try and figure out exactly what it was that was blocking IRS from working. Oh well. Will post a follow-up after some more testing.

Must have been something knackered in the SM install, but what, who knows!
