Some background, here's what's done so far:
Running everything on an existing Debian (10) VPS already running lots of other games (on different non-conflicting ports of course). Those games include TF2, CS:S, CS:GO, HL1, TFC, CS1, DMC, etc. without any issues.
Installed SRCDS with Source SDK 2013 Dedicated Server.
Installed TF2Classic into that (tf2classic folder, etc.).
That worked fine (with some cli/launch option modifications to my various bash scripts I use for Linux dedicated servers, etc.).
Installed latest stable Metamod:Source (MM:S).
Installed latest stable SourceMod (SM).
Installed the TF2Classic tools from GIT source (
https://github.com/Scags/TF2Classic-Tools.git), copied the sourcemod folder merged into existing tf2classic/addons/sourcemod folder, update the VDF file, etc.
Seems to launch okay, but the console spews the error shown below repeatedly.
The server will show on the server-list, but then it restarts itself before anyone can actually connect form a client successfully.
RecordSteamInterfaceCreation (PID 13894): SteamGameServer014 / GameServer
Missing interface adapter for SteamGameServer014 GameServer
Eventually the server crashes/restarts with this generic error message:
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
