i might be mistaken but i want to remember that i have seen/read that HL2 is to be released the 16 of november doesnt this mean that the SDK should be out before the 16 of november??

The SDK is completely separate from the game. The SDK doesn't let you run a game without buying it. Your decision to buy the game, or which package to buy, shouldn't be influenced by the availability of the SDK. And as I said before, the SDK isn't coming out. Ever.

I heard this as well, although I should go do my own research. I really cant wait to play HL2 myself as I thoroughly enjoyed part one. I think I have played it through about 4 times.

As far as the SDK is concerned, if the release date above is accurate, we can expect the kit to be made available mid December at the latest...so not too much longer...
