I know that Colorchat is pre-installed in v1.8.3 and hence I tried compiling on both versions.

In v1.8.2 with include.
In v1.8.3 without include. (default zip downloaded from amxmodx's website)

I'm using the colorchat you gave with the kd_test, but when someone hs an enemy, it shows twice the distance. one with green color and other with blue color.
also, the distance doesn't appear to the killer, only to the victim. if I'm not wrong, it shows for both, only if the distance is colored with green/red (the high distances).
Can you help me please?
