The "kids" are loving this JetPack...I have it always on for my Mon/Tues DeathMatch and I have a webshortcut link in game so people just type jetpack and it brings them to this link in-game: L.Duke's JetPack

Nice info lex_talonis. No one's getting stuck are they?

flyingmongoose: I doubt I'll add a jet pack model, but if there are a number of people using this plugin I will probably add some sort of sound to indicate that it's on as well as give server admins the ability to limit the amount of time a player can have their jetpack turned on each round.

I was on your server last night. It seems to only work when you jump or are in the air.

thx and an on/off cvar?

I was thinking more the old style of indicator that shows some nifty fire/spark like effects coming out of the hind end of hte player model. Using existing sprites or whatever in the game.

Yes people do occasionally get stuck beneath maps etc. on certain maps that don't have "hard" skybox boundaries...still okay, esp. in DeathMatch FFA.

Not exactly, if you point your mouse aim up to the sky and press and hold the "+jetpack" button and the "up arrow" you will lift off the ground into the air. Yes jumping speeds up the liftoff process.

Nice cool plugin L.Duke, its fun in lex_talonis's wild DM Server!

All lex_talonis's DM maps but one have good skybox boundries that make the jetpack fun without going off the map.

You can also get going really fast if you straif right or left while flying
