I have many problems with that ...

i have a connect sound, but its dont playing.

the sound is in pcm16 mono 11025hz why it doesn´t work ?

read my post above, 16 bit can cause problems.
try other formats. it is a halflife restriction, not a plugin one

Just a quick note... doesn't seem to work under DMC.

The sounds I use are already downloaded (since they are also used for modified "Sank Sounds" type plugin). But, they don't play (to the joining player) when the player joins the game.

if sank sounds does work this one should normaly work too

btw: mp3s are not supported

i tested:
- DMC (deathmatch classic)
- lan:
-> me being host
-> ded server
- inet:
-> me being host
-> ded server

once i saw the ingame screen i heard a sound (every configuration did work)
