I've never been taken advantage of, but then again the method I use is fairly good...I'll develop the plugin, demonstrate it on my server, get paid, then hand over the plugin. If the "get paid" part fails I'll usually release the plugin as open source.

so we will never pay you necavi cause we will be able to get the plugin anyway, thx for the leak. Can you make CS:GO car mod where we can race together, I'm willing to pay 10, 000$. (ONLY NECAVI CAN TAKE THE JOB!)

That's only happened once or twice, I tend to be careful about who I go with.
