Well, first off I know it's CSS:DM causing the problem, cause after I disabled it everything works. Now here are the problems:

Noone has the option to enter spectator mode. ever.
Guns disappear when you drop them.
restarting the map crashes the server (i.e. @rr mani command)

I could care less about most of these, I just REALLY need the spectator mode. It's hard to ban hackers just on hut instinct and scores. So we don't ban any of them.


EDIT: OK I got Spec mode to work, but once players go into it, they can't rejoin. They are always dead if they do. So they have to type retry in console.

Read the sticky... you have to type respawn in chat. It's going to be made a feature to inform specs of this when they rejoin a team.

As far as restarting the map, yeah... I had the warmup_timer enabled and that would crash it. Perhaps just change the map to the same map instead of restarting? @rcon mp_restartgame 1?

got only naked server, metamod source and cssdm, after

rcon mp_restartgame 1 - almost everytimes

and sometimes it happens after: new round

I am using MM:S 1.3d. i have also tried one of the nightly builds but that caused some problems with mani and goremod. Just to add some info in, I also use the following plugins/mods:

MetaMod:Source v1.3d
Mani Admin v1.2BetaR w/MM:S
CS:S RPG MOD v1.0.5 w/MM:S
Stripper v1.1a w/MM:S
GoreMod 3.2.5 w/MM:S
EventScripts v1.3.0.006


Maybe it is one of those causing this.

You are running a lot of aggressive gameplay mods. If you're having a problem, isolate it to one to find what's not working.

I did isolate it. It's clearly this mod that is the problem. With it enabled, the other crash the server. With it disabled everything plays nicely. I fixed it though. I just removed this mod and replaced it with an EventScripts version. No more crashes. I'm happy.

I await the next release of this mod. This mod is far superior to the one I have now installed, but it crashes so I can't use it. Hopefully the next one will be different.

I'm not really understanding how you isolated it - simply enabling or disabling isn't isolating. You need to run the mod alone.

However, if you think this mod is crashing, you should post a bug report and attach core dumps. These are generated automatically on Windows as .mdmp files. They are generated on Linux after doing this in the shell:

ulimit -c unlimited

At the very least, you need to provide a configuration setup that crashes while the plugin is isolated.

Also, "guns disappear" when you drop them isn't a bug. Read the cssdm.cfg file.
