In checking the sourcemod logs, it's being spammed with the following:

Not sure if that helps anyone, but that's all I could find in the logs...

CONFIRMED: Critical Hits Modifier on TF2 servers FIXED! Had to update Source-Mod to latest "snap-shot" build and restart the server.

There was a temporary issue with the gamedata updater for servers running 1.5.0-dev or 1.5.0.

Restarting the server to let it download fixed data or updating to the 1.5.1 release is enough to fix it.

This seems to be broken again.

I set sm_crits_enabled to 1, sm_crits_chance to 0, and still get random crits.

Setting sm_crits_chance to 1 enables crits all the time.

FWIW, setting tf_weapon_criticals to 0 seems to work fine.

Metamod:Source version 1.10.0
SourceMod Version: 1.5.2

Anyone else having this problem?

I updated to SourceMod 1.5.3 - which fixed that sometimes it would crit anyways with crit chance set to "0".

But there seems to be another problem. The plugin returns Plugin_Handled instead of Plugin_Changed, which only seems to affect things when crit chance is set to zero.


If anyone cares, I've fixed this issue and uploaded the source code to my GitHub page:

Another issue seems to be that this plugin can suppress crits in TF2 when the intel gets capped (cap crits) - though that's something I'm not worried about.

seems the todays update broke the plugin. it's running on the server. changed nothing but there no 100% crits right now

running sm: 1.5.4-git4077
