hay travo i made a server with your mod it is cool and all but i tryed to
re make paintballgun.sma & paintballmod.sma to use a p228 with the mp5 this is what i got so far


the p & v mdl names for the new guns are ( v_pbgun2 / p_pbgun2 )

is it possible to make it respawn? like deathmatch? or do you have to place CSDM besides this plugin?

thnx...i figured it out allready....added CSDM and disabled the menu plugin

now my only question is this:

being killed by the paint is not the same as being killed by a bullet is it?
i tried to add a spawn protection, but even when that is active for the first 5 seconds after respawn, they get killed by a paintbullet...spawnprotection doesn't work this way...
:/ any ideas?

ive added amx_pbspawnprotect for spawn protection. the pbgun now obeys pev_takedamage, so if you want to make your own spawn protection set pev_takedamage to DAMAGE_NO to give the player godmode then pev_takedamage to DAMAGE_AIM to disable godmode and make the player killable.

ok thnx for that, i will try it out soon...

i have only encountered 1 other problem...sorry
i had the server up and running without problems...i didn't change anything, but after a couple of hours, varias mapchanges later, the aim of everybody was changed.

when you shoot a paintball, it doesn't go to the place you are aiming, but to a random place besides it. So aiming is a bit hard now. I tried restarting the server and all that sh*t...but it keeps aiming strange. It's not just with me, I asked several players.

pbgun_velocity (default 2000) - The speed the paintballs travel (must be lower than sv_maxvelocity (default 2000))
If your velocity is higher than the sv_maxvelocity your shots will not fly straight. set pbgun_velocity and sv_maxvelocity the same in your amxx config file

Idea if the bullet hits the player he is stripped and cant move but he is not in game he goes to spectater saving the score then when finished goes back and plays
