I have a simple fix for removing the $ near the text of the hint bar, but it removes the HTML for the </bold> and the colors. It's useful but sadly csgo removed HTML being used in the hint bar.

Just simply replace ur current drapi_show_damage.phrases.txt with this file that removes the HTML code that was in the old version of drapi_show_damage.phrases.txt
