I have not read into slack or discord very much but you would either need to parse the api every few seconds (similar to a mimic client) or have some kind of external bot that relays the messages.

However I found that a snippet for discord would be good as steam connects to discord and you can send messages to admins through discord without needing an actual hosted bot.

Parsing api every few seconds should be fine, SteamWorks http requests aren't resource hogs or create lags as far as I know.

Not sure what you mean here. Can you link the snippet?

I was refering that a snippet should be made for something like CallAdmin.
