If you want it to work for all admins not to be able to affect themselves, just change this:

Thanks both of you, but I'm still not sure why it's not working for me. I update it fine, I restart the server, but it's all the same. No changes whatsoever.

Not to be insulting, but did you compile the plugin and put it in /plugins/ to replace the previous version? I've forgot this before and it was very annoying .

Umm, I'm not sure? Is this something you do when you first install the plugin to the server? Because I didn't do that, a friend did it for me.

You take the plmenu.sma (with the modified code) and compile it. You can compile it here and you download the compiled plugin which should be plmenu.amxx. Ok, put this plmenu.amxx in your /<mod>/addons/amxmodx/plugins/ folder and overwrite the existing one. Then restart (map change) your server.
