Hi... When you enter a server, there's a page at the start, this page is sometime the server homepage, the rules or whatever. Where can you change it? (:
Also, does anyone know a plugin where the user has to choose between wether they accept or don't, with a link to the rules for the server? (:

This one was saying "For newest AMX Mod X and many plugins visit http://www.amxmodx.org/", and not "Welcome blah blah blah"... Is the thing html-based, or what? I mean, sometimes it links to the server webpage, do you just paste the link, and add some html, or? :S

This is from amxx
You can change it in the amxx.cfg (addons/amxmodx/config)

I don't think you understand what I mean, I refered to the file motd.txt which jtp10181 said I should change. That one said "For newest AMX Mod X and many plugins visit http://www.amxmodx.org/", and not "Welcome blah blah blah"... As you can see on the picture I'd attach to the topsubject, the text says "Welcome blah blah blah", and that's the one I wanna change. So the question goes: Where can I change that, and how do I insert a webpage link, is it with html, or do I just paste the entire link?

Hope it makes sence ^

If you want it to show a website, simply type in the url.
You don't need all the html code.

Example:
Code:
http://scw.mine.nu

Example:
Code:

Code:
// AMX Configuration File
echo Executing AMX Mod X Configuration File

// Default access for all non admin players (see users.ini for access details)
amx_default_access "z"

// Name of setinfo which should store a password on a client (you should change this)
// (Example: setinfo _pw "password")
amx_password_field "_pw"

// Mode of logging to a server
// 0 - disable logging, players won't be checked (and access won't be set)
// 1 - normal mode which obey flags set in accounts
// 2 - kick all players not on list
amx_mode 1

// Show admins activity
// 0 - disabled
// 1 - show without admin name
// 2 - show with name
amx_show_activity 2

// Frequency in seconds and text of scrolling message
amx_scrollmsg "Infectors SH-Mod Server" 600
Which of the following should I change to the link I want to be shown? The code comes from
$dedicated server/cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/amxx

Non...
That's the amxx.cfg
You should only change the motd.txt

The stuff in amxx.cfg, is the horisontal text that is broadcasted in the server.
motd.txt is the "page" that is shown when people connect to the server.

There's a motd.txt in $Counter-strike/cstrike
There's a motd.txt in $counter-strike source/cstrike
There's a conmotd.tvt in $dedicated server/cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs
There's a conmotd.tvt in $counter-strike/cstrike/addons/amxmodx/addons/amxmodx/configs

The only one that had the exact text there were before was the motd.txt in $Counter-strike/cstrike, but that's not the dedicated server? :S
I replaced the text in the $Counter-strike/cstrike, and it worked - if I ought to create a map while I was in cs, not on the dedicated server. The problem is, I pasted my link, complete with http://www. in front of it, so it couldn't be mistaken, it now only shows the link, not the page (note: this is still not in the dedicated server)

Then you are not using a true dedicated server, but running one off your steam account.
Go to www.steampowered.com and download the hldsupdatetool package, unless you are satisfied with what you got now.
