Aplogies if this has been gone over before, but 242 pages of search results is daunting for a Sunday

I'm just looking for a quick command, or possibly even a plugin, that would quickly enable me to turn AMXX off (and preferably back on again) without having to mess about via FTP.

Some clans we play are not too happy about us leaving it on inmatch, and although we can pause all the plugins, they still whine (and frankly it's a pain in the arse).

As I say, I've looked all the obvious places and come up with nothing, so any help would be gratefully received.

in plugins .ini u can add a ; before each lines but i never tryed this before and i dont know if ur server gonna crash, and all your plugins are not gonna work

i think the simpliest way to turn off amxx is in the addons/metamod/plugins.ini file add ; before win32 addons/amxmodx.......

Clearly, but I'm unwilling to give all my members FTP access.

There's a meta pause command, however all the plugins are reloaded with mapchange. Hrumph.

Surely there's a variable within AMXX itself, amx_on 0 or something sensible?

NO.

you can add your members only access to plugins.ini in your ftp ;)

Yes, but I can't give all my members FTP access so they can turn it off ;)
