new version uploaded with fixes to make the new compiler happy.... downloaded it myself and tested it.

I found out that somewhere along the line the engine module became required and it does not load without it anymore. So if you're getting a bad load you need to enable that module.

You should make a knife model for this.

the engine module comes with AMXx, uncomment it from the modules.ini and restart the server.

I compiled the Throwing Knives plugin from SMA and installed it along with the models. The models download into client fine and amx_plugins in amxx show the plugin is running. Binding knife_throw does nothing. Running /knifehelp or the like does nothing and the plugin gives no messages except this console error:

Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/weapons/knife_hitwall1.wav'
Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/weapons/knife_hit4.wav'
Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/weapons/knife_deploy1.w

I couldn't find those WAVs on your website or anywhere. Is there somewhere I can download them or do I just have to make up my own knife sounds?

I run Linux dedicated server w/ the latest Metamod and AMXX.
Thanks!

Alright, I got the WAVs from this site:
http://www.simphonics.com/library/Wave%20Files/WEAPONS/

Now my client console says those waves are processed. However, I still can't get the thing to throw knives even though everything is theoretically in place now.

By the way, I do have engine enabled in AMXX.

what MOD are you running? This plugin was only tested on CS, worked perfectly fine on a clean install of a STEAM cs server. The sounds are part of CS and/or half life.

TFC. The plugin page said "all" so I assumed it would work on TFC.
