I'm trying to use some plugins, I read that I need sourcemode installed locally so I did it as said in
Sourcemod .
But I'm stuck on Checking the Install paragraph...
What/where is Server console ?
I read that i can access the server with rcon in game console but if I try

rcon meta list  or
rcon sm <something>

It gives command not found
Anyway rcom is working because if I type

rcon status or
rcon help

It answers me...

What i missed?

So I have to install a csgo dedicated server to use plugins, correct ?

I thought that when i play with bots I already have a dedicated server running on my computer, instead i have to run a dedicated server, then run the game, and connect to my dedicated server, correct?

Plugins and mods are not made to in game listen server (play against bots from menu).
Better install SRCDS through SteamCMD and add mods in there.

I'm pretty sure you can install them locally. You just need to put -insecure in your launch options for sourcemod to run when you launch your game.

If you're running it locally, you don't need to type "rcon". "rcon" stands for "remote console", so you don't need that for a local server.

I use -insecure option and tried with and without rcon, but same error...

Anyway i refined my problem.(with ingame server, not dedicated wich i'm downloading)
It starts with metamod, if i type in the console

plugin_load "../csgo/addons/metamod/bin/server"

it doesn't load, I tried all combination, full path, various relative path, with and without "" but always same results...

If someone is sure that it's possible to load plugins on ingame server i keep on trying..... otherwise i'm already downloading the dedicated server.

MM:S and SM on listen servers are not supported. It may incidentally work (it has in the past), but we won't make changes for the purpose of making it work.
