I restored the 'default' to what it used to be, and now using "tf2stats", and it IS connecting to the webserver DB.

V7.8.1 Quick database version fix, was not updated in version 7.8.0.

If you're running version 7.8.0 with mysql you might see "SQL Error: Duplicate column name" errors at plugin start. This update will fix it.

Still getting [TF2_Stats.smx] SQL Error: Table 'tf2stats.Map' doesn't exist

I see, I was following the detailed pdf.

4. Now run the SQL scripts containted in the web interface package by going into phpMyAdmin>SQL>copy/paste the code and press Go. This make the necessary tables for the database.

I did a quick search for "country" and such in this thread, but couldn't find what I was looking for;

Is there any way to disable the country announcement when joining? I, along with others on my server aren't too fond about it being forced out of them.

For example, I'm from the US, but I'm currently living in the UK for a short time, and currently when new players see me join, they assume I'm British until I explain.

It's not a huge issue, and at the end of the day, it's obviously something someone can find out anyway if they look hard enough, but it feels like it should be an option, and I'd very much like to turn that single part off.

I tried rank_connectcountry "0" but that just seems to instead default to rank_connectcountry "1".

There is no setting to disable it (except disabling the join message).
I'll see about adding an option for it when I add the saxxy weapon, though that wont be for a little while most likely.

Fair enough. I do like that it welcomes people, just not that it displays their location.

I'm quite happy to leave it on "1" for now until you find the time to update. I can be patient.
