Also, register the event with filter "1=1" (active weapon), then you can use read_data(2) and filter if the player changed weapon or not, that can tell you if you actually need to make glow or not.

Btw, you could cache the value of is_user_bot() it's not something it will chance dynamicaly. ( client_putinserver )

This just prevent the web compiler from compiling your plugin
