maby change the irc command system to use either the default admin/amxbans list (and use username/pw from there), or use channel status (voice, op etc.) instead of an additional admin list for all the channel commands...

would also love to see (as suggested earlier) error message ingame if the bot is timed out/disconnected and if not in the designated channel (e.g. if it have been kicked)....

also, the bot still have some problems reconnection to the channel if it get disconnected... normally i need to restart the server for it to come back...

it may be asking for a lot, but it would be great changes for a great plugin

plugin works like a charm, but cant get the bot to autheticate to quakenet.

[26/08/2007 11:21] -Q- bot-name is online right now.
[26/08/2007 11:21] -Q- bot-name is NOT authed

ANy ideas?

i have used all of these in the server.cfg

irc_ident "/msg [email protected] AUTH botname password"
;irc_ident "PRIVMSG [email protected] :auth botname password"
;irc_ident "authserv auth malarkey botname password"

Feature request, ability to set modes, ie hide/mask ip addresses in quakenet.
;//mode $me +x

tried that, still not able to auth the bot, i know i can ident the bot on irc myself. So cant be a password issue.
in console see this:

09:029 irc_ident
09:029 "irc_ident" is "msg [email protected] AUTH bot-name password"

09:00:15 irc ident
09:00:15 [IRC] Identifying

if anyone still have problems with the bot not connecting, and everything being correctly setup etc.
try enabling the sockets module.
I added sockets + engine and it started working for me

Maybe a useful or useless function would be: When someone send to the bot a CTP Version. He could gives and answer like: -01:14:27- !Chanbot! VERSION HLDS <-> IRC /w Integration By Devicenull 2.7

Is it possible to connect the bot to other servers, like Undernett ? cuz I tried and the bot won't connect, I don't know if I did something wrong or the bot just won't join... I tried it on "zagreb.hr.eu.undernet.org"
