Screen Fade(exhaustion) when one reached certain limit i.e just before when his sprint time is over.

I would like to hear hard breathing sound afrer sprint end .
You also can make feature (cvar option) for play this sound not locally on sprinter (spk cmd), a play it globally (via sound_emit?) .

I have one question, let's say I used 3 seconds of my sprint, and then I stopped. Will it become 5 seconds after the cooldown has passed? If no, you could make like that.

For the idea, nice, it's been around in many games and good job implementing it here.

Yeah, I think so too. But I don't think a colored screen will look good. I'm looking for a better effect. I tried SetFOV message a bit. But instant change of degrees don't give a good result too. I'm still working on running effects.

I noticed the lack of that sound too I found a good breath sound and edited it. It is ready now. I will update the plugin when the screenfade thingies done.

Changing FOV like the plugin that gives players drugs is a good idea. It's like a blurr effect, but ofc don't overdue it.

Updated to v1.1

I tried many effects. Changing FOV was a good idea. But it doesn't look good in practice. It changes instantly. ScreenFade way is the best method I could find. It seems good to me. I hope you like it too. Also I added a breath sound effect. I'm open for any better suggestion.

Good! Very nice colors (ScreenFade) I just feel how hard player after sprint .
You also can add new cvar for prevent sprint in jump. Right now players with sprint can easy make long jumps, for example, on this rock (de_nuke).

Added:
Spectators can sprint too :S.

Hi.

I tried this plugin on my deathrun server and I have a problem. Even if I modify cvar sprint_speed 400 to sprint_speed 800, the speed will still be 400. Any solution? Thanks.

For the best performance, cvars are being retrieved at the map beginnings. So you have to change the map to update the cvars. I will add a command to instant cvar update though. You will be able to change the values instantly without changing map.

I changed the map and.. still 400. I dont know why.
