It looks to me like you're just hooking the chat usermessage and replacing the [SM] prefix with your own custom prefix. That's what Simple Chat Processor does.

Could be wrong, though, I didn't look at it very thoroughly.

I just dont get how this could be used with scp, let alone why adding a plugin dependicy.

This has nothing to do with chat messages. This just basically changes the [SM] prefix in PrintToChat() messages (including ReplyToCommand(), ShowActivity(2)(), etc..) and switches it with the one in the config, and since this, at the moment, only hooks the "TextMsg" usermessage, it does not even hook the "chat usermessage", nor does it interfere with anything chat related (other than chat responses through ReplyToCommand(), as stated before)

Looks like the function doesn't have a proper check to make sure the client has connected (I think)....or at least something to tell the plugin what to do in the event of a player not being connected yet.

This does look like a very neat plugin that I would use, but only if these errors were addressed.
