well, mine's crashed without bots and without a level change, but last night i turned off all the new options; spawn protection (which is messed anyways because you can shoot when its on), bomb removal, objective removal, ect. So far its running good with no problems.

steak, can you give an update? is it still running ok? if so, can you tell us exactly how you configured yours? i am going to turn off all the options that i can tonight and see what happens. I'm just glad we are least this far. Not having deathmatch makes cs boring!

My bots will only use pistols. Cssdm.cfg is set default so they should be able to use aug and m4a1 as well as others. Not sure what to do

yup, still running fine, although i havent tried any maps besides de_dust yet. i just turned off these

protection = 0

remove_bombs = 0

remove_objectives = 0

i havent tried turning any of them on, but maybe i will one at a time and see if its a single thing or not.

Thanks for letting us know you're still working on fixing the bugs in your free time, and thanks for your work on mani too.

steak, how do you prevent it from changing maps? i'd like to do that, nuke is fun, and new anyway...


i set mine with:

and no crash in hours.... yeah....

I hadn't had hardly any crashes until just within the last few hours....I turned off bots entirely, but the server lags up to the point that pings shoot above 800 and after about 30 seconds everybody gets disconnected and the server stops responding until restarted.

This might not be CSSDM, it might just be Mani...but it could be related.

my server is crashing as well

we're using the latest CSSDM and the latest MetaMod and we are not running an admin mod

the crash happens when there is like 2 people on the server when the round restarts

i believe it is some sort of C++ visual runtime error...

have you turned the options OFF that have been discussed in this thread? turning these options off may help. mine crashed every 5 to 30 minutes, now it hasn't crashed and i have been running for hours, no crash. I am not 100% sure if it will stop it from crashing, but so far so good =)

EDIT: put the bomb and objective commands to 0 and server no longer crashes even with mani installed
