Hello my server lags randomly and also crashed on loading the next map randomly as well and i have no idea how to begin troubleshooting it, I would really appreciate your help.

The lag and crashing is gone when I disable metamod.vdf so I know its definitely something ive added within sourcemod.

Its a csgo surf server here is all the information i got from these commands.

I would run -debug and/or -condebug, give us any crash details, also your Sourcemod error log because that would help.
Also you have a lot of author-less plugins, in which case that could be the culprit, but most likely first work out the most obvious error'ed plugins.

Thanks Max and neuro i have did all of your suggestions. I also fixed all the errors in sourcemod logs so it no longer makes a file any more because there is no errors to report. I will use my server and test now and then report back.

I ran all the commands again for an update.

Also i removed all of the authorless plugins before i did your suggestions and it lagged still so i know its not them

If it's crashing it should give you a debug message in your console.log if you are using the start parameters I mentioned.

We can get a better idea provided there is an error, the next move would be to install Accelerator.

However, if it's not crashing but just lagging, we need to know whether it's freezing or sv/var lag. Freezing would indicate that you either are using non-threaded sqls or something of the sort. SV/Var would indicate too many players, entities, and plugins and are over your tickrate limit. This is plausible if you are using any tickrate above 64.

Yes i added both -debug and -condebug to start parameters.

I will let you know if it lags again as im just testing right now, as far as the crashing goes its not as often as the lag (mostly on map change) so its just a case of me waiting until it does so i can give you the log.

When the server did lag nobodys ping moved and the rates did not move either it also would happen wither it was 1/32 or 32/32 players. The lag was like you get telelported back the way so like you jump of the surf ramp and then it puts you back to were you were before you jumped off and then back on the surf ramp and so on for a few seconds and then the "Warning Connection Problem" would come up and the server would crash. Its also 64 tick if that helps.

Could be a slew of different things, but I can't point out any plugin there that uses non-threaded sql queries. Could very well be an intermittent issue with your provider getting a DDoS attack, or it could go all the way to your hardware and a bad CAT cable. Though, having a more concrete idea of what is lagging would be helpful.\

I blame non-threaded SQL queries. That is usually the cause of most lag. Run net_graph 5 and see if any spikes in sv or var come up.
