Hmm, I wonder how Valve does their killcams in TF2. I know it's a different engine, but depending on they do it, it could be similar in concept. Well, except for the markers it adds for your body parts if you were gibbed, which are game specific.

Xalus tried making a killcam plugin but found out it wasnt possible.


Killcam from call of duty is when you see your killers view for 5 seconds when killing you.
So its like a replay of your death.

Cod probably records and play the moment when they get killed. I guess it's the only way possible to do it, i mean, they are not deja vu makers...

I didn't understaznd fully, but the "replay" thingy is not possible as it was already discussed.

So. If I'm not wrong, I'll give you two similar clues to what you seem asking for:

1. Search in the plugins made by ConnorMcLeod (forgot the name of the one I'm thinking about).
2. Search for this keyword in titles (approved, unapproved, and high trafic plugins sections): *slow#mo* (for slowmotion related stuff)

COD might even do it all client-side too which would prevent any adverse affect to the server.

I spend months in this, to find out its impossible to get it perfect. Cus only players can do 2 movements at the same time. The point of this is like in call of duty, you die and you see how you died in the killer's eyes. A project, thats almost impossible in CS1.6, and surely impossible in a 32 player server, if you wanna show all players around. I've got around 10 versions, so I hope I uploaded the right one.
