You gave me an awesome idea, where can I find a fat (and I mean FAT, big FAT) model to replace my school director?

Albanian Zombie, how many spawn points are required? Also, I read somewhere that light_environment doesn't work properly for indoor maps. I was hoping I could modify the ambient light somewhere, but as of now, unless lit by a point light, everything is black.

What's up with the negative attitude, Kia? I'm making a map of my school because I think it would be fun to play CS in it.

Why negative attitude? I was just asking a question.

16x16 at least.
Some maps (like de_dust2) have more (about 19x19) — it will add more combinations of spawning positions.

light_environment make SKY-brushes radiate sun-light. If you have indoor map without SKY-brushes at all — you don't need light_environment.
But you should use SKY-brushes in your indoor map, because your school have windows and other entrances, through which passes sun-light.

Huh, I didn't know about the sky texture. I also found out how to make glass transparent. Gonna mess around with it, this could make the map even more awesome.

Can I make visible, solid blocks that can be shot through but not walked through?

Yes. You need VHLT compilers and their FGD file.
Create brush (crate?) and move it it entity > func_detail, passable "yes".

Thanks, I'll check it out, but for the record, that gif is the opposite of what I'm asking for

Ah, ok. Then, create crate as func_illusionary, and create CLIP brush with same sizes on same position.
