1.6 is not dead, there are 3000+ servers(not all of them full), old players are now "grown up", new players that firstly come in gaming world try games like COD or GTA5 and they think that this games are the best, but they haven't tried old games. Parents fault, why buying a 2k$ gaming PC to a 13 year old kid?

3000+ servers and 99% of them are non-steam. As I said before, CS 1.6 is dead and what you have right now is just an mere shell of what it used to be.
