I'd like to change my server's hostname randomly ever 12 hours or so.

handles configuration in a good way, but due to the way it's coded, cannot be used for hostname changes with intervals longer than map length.


Additionally, the plugin should be able to randomize the server name on initial load (the server is periodically restarted, and a high interval might mean that the hostname is never changed).

It would be nice if the 'random' hostname was not the previous hostname.
Is it possible to do this without requiring mysql access?

[EDIT]Managed to cobble something together to do what I wanted. I don't know what I'm doing and it's too messy to release though.
