Hello!

In the past, I've seen TF2 servers that exclusively allowed members of a certain Steam group to join... connections from players that did not belong to the group were automatically refused by the server.
Unfortunately, I really can't seem to find the plugin or cvar that does that. Any help or input is appreciated!

hlstats ce lets you restrict people with a certain rank to join server, im sure wit would have an option to allow certain id's. as for a group wouldnt that have to run through mysql or some web based format?

You could use the SteamTools extension (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=129763) and use Steam_RequestGroupStatus(client, groupAccountID); to figure out if their group status, then kick them from the server automatically if they aren't.
