Is it possible to reduce the map change time? I don;t run any map plugins except for the default one. In my server, it takes like a full 20 seconds to switch maps, leaving a lot of players staring at the screen, thinking the server crashed.

And, to some of my players, they would get timed out. Any solutions?

This is what would happen:

Map is about to switch, the scoreboard comes onto the screen and everything is stopped. Normally, it would take maybe 2 or 3 seconds for the map to change. Not mine. My server is taking 10-20 seconds to change and about halfway through that time, in the top right corner, the words "Warning Connection Problem" appear.

Soon, map models would disappear (boxes, crates, immobile vehicles ect ect.). Then, it would toally exit the server and in a small dark green box, the text "Timed out from server" would appear.

Please, can someone help me? I previously ran Deagles Map Managment before but recenrly took it out. After I took it out, this problem started to happen.

I run Deagles Map Management also, have for close to 2 years, and about 2 months ago my server started doing the same as yours. Scores used to come up for 2 seconds, then the map would change, now after 2 seconds, the whole server freezes for 10-30 seconds, like it locked up, then it will change maps.

If you restart your server does it work fine for a couple of maps then start doing the same again??

If I was to restart my server it would change nothing.

The only solution I could find was to completely re-install my server but then the problem would just come back.
