CS:S update 5/2/2013

Hi,

after the engine update I am running now:
- mmsource-1.10.0-hg817-linux
- sourcemod-1.5.0-hg3764-linux
- sdkhooks-2.3.0-hg250-linux

but the following SMAC modules let the server crash on start:
- smac_css_antiflash.smx
- smac_css_antismoke.smx
- smac_css_fixes.smx
Version: 0.8.2.9

Assuming your gamedata is up to date...

You should stick to SDK Hooks 2.2, and use the binary from this post. Rename the file from ep2v to css and it should work.

Yes, sdkhooks-2.3.0-hg250-linux was a buggy update and has been withdrawn. I downgraded to 2.2 with the new binary you linked - and it works great!

The client protection module will not work nevermore?
This module call the connect extension, but after this update the CSS game unsupported in that extension.
So. The client protection module will work without the connect extension?

The connect extension enhances the protection, but isn't required.
