I hope too, someone can write a plugin what detect if someone give too many hits across the wood props.
They can, but vac bannes in waves and with delay, so that people will not know what they got banned for.

Sadly, VAC misses so cheats. Leagues and valve need to work closer together so that cheats caught by Leagues are also VAC banned. So many blatant hackers from years are still active and not VAC banned.

Simple 1 byte memory edits that are applied before joining a server (such as changing r_drawothermodels to 2 using cheat engine) are completely undetectable server side and the only thing capable of catching these would be a 3rd party client side anti-cheat such as EAC. Since VAC only loads after you connect to a secured server it won't detect this. If convars are changed directly through memory and not using the console after applying a sv_cheats bypass for example convar checker won't detect the edits since querying the cvar would still display the original value.

Valve really should do something about this. Simply VAC banning for these kind of edits won't do though since that could cause someone with corrupted memory to get banned. Something like a sv_pure for memory that would kick for certain memory mismathces would be optimal imo, though I don't know how hard this would be to implement.

Many "league" cheats are not vac bannable, like say autohopkeys, varrious scripts, and client settings.
