This causes lag spikes on our server.... is it possible to somehow make it NOT cause lag spikes??

This does in fact lag the server since its making so many queries. Can you please cache them and send them on map end instead.

I have to agree that it lags our servers as well, I have removed it and noticed a huge improvement since then. Can anything be done to improve this please?

I will add in an option to make this send queries at the end of the round and/or on map change.

I'm really surprised you all are seeing performance issues, the plugin uses threaded queries so you shouldn't be having any problems. The only time the plugin should be doing any work is when a player joins. How many player connections are you seeing on average?

Join any of my servers and you will notice a slight lag when players join and perhaps when they leave.
