i recently downloaded 3 amx x mod plugins, gore mod, nvgoggle mod, stealth ops mod.

i added the files to the /plugins folder
i added cvars to amxx.cfg
and "turned" them on in plugins.ini

when server boots

only default plugins load,

amxx
metamod
funmode
csstats

i am about to pass out i will give more info later, pls help i want to use plugins

i thought it would be a good combo, dark nightvision only, steal enemy cloths and massive bleeding perfect for my small server

ok sorry ,

apparently im a dumbass who just observer the startup text and never issued the amxx plugins command, UNTIL NOW

yea 2/3 of my custom plugins are loading along with a LOT of other default ones.

so all is good exept....my nvg_mode plugin is not working, i have engine.module loaded which was the main requirment.

when it tried to load the plugin it says...

L 05/06/2004 - 00:542: [AMXX] Function not found (name "set_lights") (plugin "
nvg_mode.amx")

any clue? please help everyone elses was working they all comment on how nice it is hehee

Check the includes for nvg mode and ensure you have all required for that plugin... also check for typos between the file on your server and the name in the plugins.ini

You didn't post your modules properly... but it appears you dont have engine or counterstrike running... I bet the problem lies there...

Lastly, you should be posting this in the plugin thread for proper support !!!

good idea i will check the requirements im pretty sure i did that part right.

i will check for typos ..

when server starts up it says that

cstrike plugin is running, even tho it doesnt show in amx_plugins or amxx plugins command.

im acually going to make a new post with more specifics.

i will get back some time later tonight... :/

im hopefull that if i post my config files some experienced users will be able to point out my greenhorn mistake

"Counterstrike" is a module not a plugin man, it will show up under meta list or amxx list... if your talking about AK's nvg_mode plugin... I know it works fine on a CS server since I beta tested all his stuff for him... it's one of the plugins I kept on my server it is so much fun.

Counterstrike isn't even required...
