I have 2 types of movement of the game character on the map:
1-the main, constantly running motion timer. All sorts of switches are used to respond to events. the main timer is disabled only when the character is destroyed.
2-each event starts its own motion timer, and the previous motion timer is disabled(so that there are no glitches with motion timers running simultaneously).
The question itself is-which type of movement is preferable to 1 or 2?
Perhaps there are other types of movements? I would like to know your opinion.
