    Projectile Fun!

Projectile Fun is a plugin created to made TF2's projectiles a bit more... entertaining. It allows server administrators to choose whatever model they desire to replace the default projectiles model! It even allows them to select a sound to play when the projectile is created! Sounds fun right?

    Feature List:
    • Allows Admins to select various models to replace TF2's projectile models
    • Allows you to select what projectiles you want to affect
    • Allows you to play random sounds from a list pre-created by you
    • Allows a chance for the models and sound to be applied (To prevent spam)

    CVAR/Command List:
sm_funprojectiles_config - Allows you to select the configuration you want to use. Default is "ghost".
    sm_funprojectiles_version - Displays plugin version.

    Installation Instructions:
If going the easy route and installing from the zip file, just dump the contents into addons/sourcemod!

    If installing separately:

    1. funprojectiles.cfg goes into addons/sourcemod/configs
    2. funprojectiles.smx goes into addons/sourcemod/plugins
    3. funprojectiles.sp goes into addons/sourcemod/scripting (totally optional)

    Dependencies:
This plugin requires SDKHooks! It should be included with Sourcemod nowadays, but just in case, you should install this!

    Media:

You can see a video of this plugin in action here!

    Changelog:

    Code:
    28/10/2013 - Version 1.0: Initial Release.

You should use an enum//bits for the projectile types, rather than searching a string onentitycreated, as you can cache it and get rid of the dynamic searching.

Also, pretty sure you can//should just always set the mins and maxs to 0 else the projectile will have expanded bounding box, normally they got special collision to handle this.

Looks good! Could you add a cvar for admins only?

Indeed, looks awesome! Is it also possible that it might show custom models when you eg, fire crits? Cvar for admins only would be nice, and I noticed that the first config is ghost and second is monoculous. Would be nice if multiple configs can be used on random chances with different type of weapon / projectiles.

Good idea! I'll get on that at some point today hopefully.

I like your crits idea! I'll have to see what I can do with that. It seems like it will be tricky because there's no easy way to detect it, that comes to mind anyway.

As for the random chances of using each configuration, I'll look into that too.

About time someone wrote a replacement for Projectile Replacer. That thing has needed major updates for a while now and I've been working on other projects.

Also, while I only glanced at the code, I haven't seen anything in it that's TF2-specific other than the default config files.

When I tried to use this plugin, whenever I start up my server I get a Host_Error: Bad string error so I had to put the .smx in my disabled folder

I can second this. This plugin does NOT function at all.

I suggest it be moved to "unapproved" until it's fixed.
