It makes its own config which overwrites the sourcemod.cfg, so you should use the plugin one instead =)

okay, in that config it has:

but non-admins are still seeing the "sprayed by:" message...is there anyway to make it so that only admins see that message?

Hmm.... i think i have that notation wrong...

Try setting it to "1"

That seems to have done the trick. If you come out with a new version, can you specify an flag-level for admin to see it? I'm pretty sure our donors (who are technically admin with the 'a' flag) are seeing it, but I'd prefer if only admin with kick-level clearance saw it.

I'm not going to come out with a new version.

I don't actively develop my sourcemod plugins anymore.

You are more than welcome to look into the code. Search for INVALID_ADMIN to get the area(s) that is checks for admin.

I hate to say it but I've been trying for 3 hours. This will not work in Left 4 Dead for me.

I believe I'm using sourcemod 1.2

The menus seem to work.. I can remove sprays and such but i can't spray other players sprays.

The thing I really wanted out of this plugin truthfully was for the admins to be able to see the name of the player that sprayed the spray and the steam ID and for everyone else to be able to see who sprayed what spray without the steamID. I've been trying forever I just cannot get it to work.

the plugin is of course in the plugins folder and spraytrace.phrases.txt is in the translations folder. I've restarted my server a bajillion times and reloaded the the menus over and over i have no idea whats wrong

What happens when you try to use the trace action in the menu?

Are there any errors in the logs?

Are you using the latest version of SourceMod?
