The weapon_chance.cfg goes in addons/amxmodx/configs folder.

I made modified version and would like to share my work.


Changes in v2.91 are:


Added:
  • plugin is named 'Weapon Chance N Rounds'
  • plugin works just for the first few rounds
  • wc_disable command to disable plugin functions permanently (untill map change)
  • wc_announce 1 cvar to set whether plugin should inform each player about random weapon receiving
  • multilingual support (dictionary file)
Fixed:
  • he & smoke grenades and flashbangs now 'works' properly
  • bomb could be given on de-maps only
  • plugin does not ever try to equipt dead players
  • some misc fixes
Removed:
  • wc_prefix cvar and announcements per weapon receiving
  • last parameter <announce> for both wc_add command and native.
  • wc_on cvar, plugin is active untill it is disabled (automatically or by command)
  • colorchat
  • wc_format_message() forward as it is not needed anymore
Do not forget to update old cfg file and make corresponding changes in the plugins that use provided API!



Notes:
  • The main plugin purpose is to use it during warm-up round only. For that set wc_maxrounds 1. Also it is recommended to add wc_disable command to the warmup plugin you use to be executed after warm-up round end for safety. However it is not required for proper operation in most cases, it just provides better compatibility around various warmup plugins.
  • Folder 'configs' in the archive contains sample config files both for the plugin iteself and for a maps where it should not be run.
  • However you may set pistols to be received too but it is worthless for now. But of course player will receive it if he drops current pistol before that.

TODO:
  • players could get pistols at first spawn and couldn't use buy menu
  • indicate additional BOMBs in scoreboard but only if it doesn't need too much work ;)
And some text for Russia and CIS ;)

This is truly what I wanted finally got myself a nice working cfg that suits my liking.

Now it would be perfect if there some sort of Instant drop of weapon that ran out of ammo.
