Please don't include the metamod plugins.ini in the next release. It is very annoying to have your plugins.ini overwritten and have to add all your plugins back in.

AMXModX may be good, but its not the center of the universe, there are other metamod plugins.

Ummm... you overwrote your own file and blame it on the package ?

This is the procedure I have to go to when I upgrade amxmod* on all my servers:

untar the amxmod package to /tmp
delete amx.cfg
delete plugins.ini (amx)
delete plugins.ini (metamod)
delete maps.ini
delete modules.ini
delete users.ini
delete cmds.ini
delete clcmds.ini
delete conmotd.txt
remake the tar
untar to each server

An upgrade package is needed.

Also keep metamodx separate from amxmodx.

Yes it is my fault, it didn't occur to me that when I installed AmxModX it would overwrite a config file for a completely different program.

So you are suggesting the correct way is for everyone to backup their files before installing amxmodx?
