Hi guys!

It's really frustrating.
Theres is someone using a lagscript on my server, or maybe 2 persons.
Every evening...Actually my server is secure...I'm using Servsecurity and some other sourcemod plugins like rconlock...
Someone told me, that the person uses a lag script which executes a .cfg, as soon as he presses the binded key. Would it be a solution to just check the chat or console immediately after this happens again?? Could I see the player name, that executes the .cfg to make the server lag? If yes, how? Please help me

Rconlock doesn't block all the commands that these people use, use http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=779851 or kigen's anti-cheat.

Thanks, I used forlix_floodcheck a while ago but then uninstalled. So I installed it again, but people still flood my server. Besides I use servsecurity which should be the best of all server protection plugins.
So how can I find out who's sending those commands to my server?

IbaneZ... servsecurity is by no means the best protection plugin, especially considering it's written in EventScripts. If you want actual protection, use Kigen's Anti Cheat, + this metamod plugin: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=135679

Ok thanks, I installed KAC and that metamod plugin.

IBanez, my friend said that KAC will block any kind of thing that will use a .CFG against a server, or any CFG or so.

So people can't use wallhack, aimbot.. any kind of hack, scripts such as the css lagger/crasher and such.. and bhop, so KAC should work. and yes, i've gotten people banned by console cause of bhop script and my friend used wh on the server to test, and he got banned.

like all anti cheat programs, KAC is not fool proof and still requires a vigilant team of admins... but it is a VERY effective first line of defense, and i use/recommend it as a standard part of any sourcemod installation

Thanks, you were right! Definitely seems that servsecurity is not the best protection plugin. I installed the 2 plugins you recommended and the server runs fine now

EventScripts is a fine language, but it needs to leave the protection to the big boys with SourceMod and Metamod lol, or C++. Glad to see it helped though.
