well it would be nicer, and you really wouldn't be teleporting the beam you'd just be setting an EntProp on the beam.

Well...
You could send te particles... But afaik there is no laser particle that just stops when it hits a surface, you need to send end position as well as start.

A better solution would be to use a env_beam or info particle system. Parent the master entity to the player's weapon attachment, and use an empty info particle system for the control point // target entity. Now, you'd have to use tracerays to get the end position and teleport the control point there. Gameframe or prethink would do... But you will have to do things like track their active weapon and enable/disable the beam appropriately.

looks interesting, in mvm mode the snipers robots already have laser in weapons

You really should change sm_lasercolor to function differently, either with preset options to choose from or allowing the user to specify a hex value. Pressing 1-3, 255 times can be very annoying especially considering I accidentally went over 255.

It would be cool if you hooked reload to toggle sm_laser on yourself, maybe play a sound as well.

Well, thanks for usefull feedback. I will include "Updater" so, everyone could get the new update. Pretty sure their will be a lot.

First, thanks for correcting my damn english.
And with

I don't get it. I should create a small animation (force the player to reload + sound like he put something on his sniper) ?
Also, the color part wasn't mean to be their at first (this explain why it's not elabored.). But sure I'm gonna improve this in the next update.

I meant, press +reload to toggle sm_sniperlaser on yourself. A sound would just play to let you know you enabled it.

Erf, much more easy now... Well, I'm gonna add this now.

EDIT: would be nice if someone can give me the path to the sound when sniper reload.

EDIT2: Nevermind, I'm gonna use tf/sound/weapons/sniper_bolt_back.wav & tf/sound/weapons/sniper_bolt_forward.wav, if someone have better sound, just post here.

EDIT3: done. 1.2 available !
