Can confirm this. Not catching permanent bans on our side either. Have to manually ban IPs whenever a hacker starts to make multiple accounts.

Been getting this after I migrated from windows to linux anyone has an idea what's the problem there?
I've searched online for a fix, I found a link to the FAQ but it dosen't talk about this error.
Sourcebans seems to still function relatively right but sometimes admins don't get removed properly:

Same problem on Windows, after update SB to newest version.

SourceBans Checker: Failed to connect to SourceBans DB, [2002]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

Have you read the error? It cannot connect to the database, which either means:
1. You do not have sourcebans (properly) defined in databases.cfg
2. Your MySQL server is not setup properly
3. Is MySQL started?? (A quick google will do wonders next time: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2...p-mysql-sock-2 )

i fixed error,but admins or bans dont work. no errors
